Sugar skull bracelet version 1

I'm really addicted to sugar skulls lately, I'm making a lot of them every day, but I'm also trying to find new solutions to put together jewellery pieces. I think that these sugar skulls need colorful assemblages. In the picutre you can see a bracelet I made with bronze chain and eyepins and glass and acrilyc beads of various colors, shapes and sizes.

Anita

Today I'm posting a picture of Anita, my 9 years old English Bull Terrier.
Anita is very funny, sometimes a bit insubordinate, but the most loyal and sweet friend I have.
She loves conforts, cats, barking to the postman and begging food. she also loves to be scratched with the comb, but she absolutely hates when I try to cut or to file her nails. Her worst enemy is the hoover that is covered with scars of Anita's bites.
I'm totally in love with her!

Last Sunday of Summer

This is the last Sunday of Summer 2010. The sun is still warm and there's a beautiful light, in my garden the last flowers are enjoying this lovely day.

In the picture, one of the bracelet of my winter collection, it's made of faux pearls, vintage flowers original from the '60s, a cute bunny in a frame charm and a satin bow that can be removed.

"Pix-cell Mario" artwork of Kohei Nawa

the picture I'm posting today is not of one of my works, this is a real piece of art of the Japanese artist Kohei Nawa.
I had the pleasure to work with him in occasion of his first solo show in Italy that was at the gallery where I work.
Kohei is a very nice guy and an extremely talented artist, he's one of my favorite ever. This is a small pice of a Mario Bros figure covered with glass beads, maybe this is not one of the more representative and important pieces, but of course is one of my fav.!
Few days ago was Kohei's birthday, so I deceided to dedicate this post to him and his art.

If you want to know more about Kohei Nawa, please visit his website here:

his bracelet is one of the prizes of the Give Away running on my facebook fan page. It is made of a gold tone chain, bronze charms and locket, fimo macaron, beads and Swarovski crystals.
I love Paris and a lot of my creations are Paris themed.
